So. The very fabulous Swistle and some of her Peeps have created a Pay it Forward contest. The idea is to send her my URL, which she will then link to on her blog. Then a person can scroll down the list of blogs and enter all these contests. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator through the comments. Sounds like fun, no? Then, and here is the cool part, the winner will be sent a gift from the blogger. Any gift. Any thing at all. I am practically BESIDE myself with excitement!
Here is my contest...
Last Sunday my husband and I were driving past the church that is down the street from our house. Well, former house. Anyhoo, they were setting up for a festival or celebration of something. I thought to myself "how fun is that". Then, I saw it. One of those giant, blow up slides. Only this slide was INCREDIBLY inappropriate. And I am fairly certain it would be considered so by the vast majority of the free world. So here is MY contest:
I want to see if anyone can guess WHAT the slide was. If no one guesses correctly I will still use the random number generator and award my prize. But I can't wait to hear some of your guesses!

Um, a slide sponsored by Hooters maybe? I have no idea. I do like contests though.
My guess is that it was a large mouth and the slide was a tongue.
Inappropriate Giant Inflatable slide...The only thing that keeps stinging my memory is the scene from Patch Adams when he strategically places two legs next to a set of doors for a gynecological conference...inappropriate, but HILARIOUS!
This has definitely got my brain going in the wrong direction...I can't decide between a Pen!$ or a tongue. Either one is gross!
I'm going with tongue. Because I just can't imagine anyone actually putting up the other.

Hmmm...the only ones I've seen that were a bit sad and tasteless are a sinking titanic ship and a tornado one that is bearing down on a farm (how that was a ride, I'm not sure, but my son said it was fun inside...)
I don't know what to say! I mean, I've had quite a few thoughts as to what the blow up thing could be but....
I think I'm going to go with some symbol of the Christian faith portrayed wrongly, as in flames or something. Have NO IDEA.
That flickr meme is fun though, huh? I did it a couple of weeks ago.
So hard....a big tongue or finger perhaps? (those are the only long body parts I'm willing to guess on here could be made into a slide...)

Was it the Titanic one? The slide looks like the stern of the Titanic and the bow is under water. The kids slide down it into the "water."
First my mind went very wrong but then I figured, well in front of a church? It must have been the devil.
Some thing with legs with a slide or entrance that goes between the legs.
Hmmm. Something involving boobs would be my guess. I can't think of how you could make a slide out of that, but I'd love to see a picture of this inappropriate slide.

I agree that this PiF thing from Swistle is a great way to find new blogs. Thanks for stopping by mine :) I think the slide is reminiscent of, shall we say, a Georgia O'Keefe (if you get my drift). A department at my work has a logo that is along those lines, makes me laugh every time.
